162,204,973 Indonesians fully vaccinated against COVID-19

Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Indonesian Health Ministry has reported that 162,204,973 Indonesians have received the full dose of the COVID-19 vaccine as of Thursday.

According to a press release from the ministry received by ANTARA here, the number of people receiving both doses of the vaccine increased by 272,468 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the number of first dose recipients increased by 195,213 to reach 197,910,765.

The ministry said that the number of third dose recipients increased by 813,125, taking the total tally to 29,213,567.

The government has targeted to administer COVID-19 vaccine to 208,265,720 people to achieve herd immunity against the virus.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, the number of positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country increased by 833.

The number of patients who recovered from the infection nationwide reached 3,216.

The number of patients who died of COVID-19 stood at 48.

Nationally, the number of active cases fell by 2,431 to reach 64,044.

Meanwhile, the number of specimens examined on Thursday was recorded at 131,907, with the positivity rate pegged at 1.65 percent.
