Jakarta (ANTARA) – Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to receive a courtesy call from Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Monday at 4:30 p.m. Western Indonesian Time.

“Later this afternoon, Thai PM Charnvirakul will arrive in Jakarta and will be received by President Prabowo at the Merdeka Palace,” Indonesian Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya confirmed here on Monday.

The trip marks Charnvirakul’s first visit to Jakarta since taking office as Thailand’s 32nd prime minister in September 2025. It is also the first official visit of a Thai prime minister to Indonesia in 15 years.

During the meeting, the two leaders are scheduled to launch the 2026-2030 Indonesia-Thailand Strategic Partnership Roadmap, which focuses on cooperation in security, economic development, and socio-cultural affairs.

Last week, the Thai government formally approved the strategic document, which will guide bilateral relations between the two nations for the next five years.
