Senior security, law enforcement officials hold strategic gathering

Jakarta (ANTARA) – Chief of the Indonesian National Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo attended a strategic gathering with Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs Djamari Chaniago and several heads of security and law enforcement institutions at the Indonesian Navy Headquarters in East Jakarta on Tuesday to strengthen communication and interinstitutional relations.

According to an official statement, the meeting provided an opportunity for leaders of security and law enforcement institutions to strengthen coordination in carrying out their respective duties.

The National Police noted that stronger communication is increasingly necessary amid evolving political and security dynamics that are interconnected with various sectors.

Therefore, interinstitutional coordination continues to be strengthened to enable potential problems to be identified and addressed at an early stage, in accordance with the respective duties, functions, and authorities of each institution.

Synergy among the Indonesian National Defense Forces (TNI), ministries, and relevant institutions is also an important part of maintaining public security and order.

Such collaboration supports joint preparedness in dealing with potential disruptions that could affect national stability and people’s daily activities.

The National Police noted that the gathering also reflected solidarity among institutional leaders in safeguarding national interests.

With sustained cooperation and coordination, the National Police said the situation is expected to remain safe and conducive, allowing various government and development agendas, as well as people’s activities, to proceed smoothly.

The gathering was also attended by Attorney General ST Burhanuddin, TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto, Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) Muhammad Herindra, Vice Commander of the TNI General Tandyo Budi Revita, Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army General Maruli Simanjuntak, Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Navy Admiral Muhammad Ali, and Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Air Force Air Chief Marshal Mohamad Tonny Harjono.
