Jakarta (ANTARA) – Indonesia’s State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi said a presidential decree to remove General Listyo Sigit Prabowo as Presidential Chief of Staff is being processed.
Speaking to reporters in Jakarta on Wednesday, Prasetyo, however, provided no further details about the decree’s issuance or when the process would be completed.
President Prabowo Subianto appointed Listyo as Presidential Chief of Staff, replacing Dudung Abdurachman, at the State Palace in Jakarta. He was sworn in on October 1, 2026, alongside several other state officials and members of the Red and White Cabinet.
His appointment was formalized under Presidential Decree No. 105/P of 2026, signed by Prabowo on Sept. 30, covering appointments to the Presidential Chief of Staff and National Agrarian Reform Agency posts.
Listyo replaced Dudung, who had served as Presidential Chief of Staff since April 27, 2026.
Separately, the National Police’s Criminal Investigation Agency previously named three officers, identified by the initials LSP, ASN, and EH, as suspects in alleged illegal wiretapping, electronic data deletion, and unauthorized access.
Criminal Investigation Agency Chief Commissioner General Asep Safrudin said on Tuesday (November 3) that investigators named the three as suspects after questioning witnesses and seizing several pieces of evidence.
The three were subsequently detained at the National Police headquarters detention center in Jakarta.
