Denpasar Immigration deports French citizen over explicit content

Denpasar, Bali (ANTARA) –

Denpasar Immigration Office in Bali deported a French adult content creator after a video featuring the individual surfaced on an adult website.

“We ensured every step was carried out in accordance with procedures until the individual was returned to their country of origin,” Head of the Denpasar Class I Immigration Office, R Haryo Sakti, said in Denpasar on Thursday.

The pornographic content creator, identified by the initials LR, was deported to Paris via I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Badung District. The 30-year-old man entered Indonesia via Bali on July 20, 2026, using a visitor visa through an automated immigration service.

Sakti explained the deportation was carried out upon public reports and subsequent digital tracing of his travel history. Immigration Intelligence and Enforcement officers then questioned LR, including his travel documents and activities while in Indonesia.

Sakti said LR created and promoted content suspected of being sexually explicit through an online platform identified by the initials OF.

“The person concerned is also suspected of promoting links leading to the content for sale,” he added.

The case involving the French national marks the third incident of sexually explicit conduct recorded over the past week, following the recent arrest of an Australian national for engaging in sexual intercourse in the yard of a resident’s home in Berawa, Tibubeneng, Badung District, on August 21.

The Australian citizen is currently undergoing questioning at Badung Police, while the female perpetrator, also a foreign citizen, has not yet been apprehended.

A day before (August 20), a sexually explicit act also allegedly involving a foreign national and two women took place in the front yard of a resident’s home in Canggu, Badung District. Authorities are still searching for the three individuals.

Head of Bali Regional Office of the Directorate General of Immigration, Ramdhani, emphasised any immigration violations will be dealt with firmly in accordance with applicable regulations.

“We support the steps taken by the Denpasar Immigration Office in following up on any alleged violations committed by foreign nationals,” he said.
