Jakarta (ANTARA) – Indonesia has strongly condemned the Israeli regime’s rejection of a 15-point roadmap aimed at implementing a comprehensive recovery plan for the Gaza Strip, describing the move as an attempt to derail an international agreement.
Indonesian Foreign Affairs Ministry spokesperson Vahd Nabyl A. Mulachela said the government views the roadmap as a collective global effort to restore the livelihoods of the Palestinian people in Gaza.
“We denounce any refusal that could thwart this collective effort,” Mulachela said during a media briefing here on Thursday.
He emphasized that the comprehensive plan, backed by multiple international parties, seeks to end the war and establish stability for the Palestinian nation and the broader region.
Mulachela noted that the Gaza recovery plan was endorsed by the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) through Resolution 2803, adopted in November 2025.
“Indonesia urges all parties to return to the principles of compliance and a full commitment to implementing the roadmap,” he added.
On Sunday (August 9), the leader of the zionist regime, Benjamin Netanyahu, declared his rejection of the Gaza recovery plan drafted by United States President Donald Trump and the Board of Peace (BoP).
“Israel rejects the 15-point document published by the Board of Peace for Gaza,” Netanyahu said in a video statement, as quoted by the local media Yedioth Ahronoth.
“Israeli forces will not withdraw until Hamas is completely disarmed,” he added.
In contrast to the zionist regime’s refusal, Hamas affirmed its commitment on the same day to adhere to the roadmap and proceed with the second phase of the U.S.-backed peace plan.
In a statement, the Palestinian resistance group expressed its seriousness in “engaging responsibly” with the 15-point plan’s implementation and in establishing a clear timetable for its execution.
Hamas emphasized that the process must also pave the way for Gaza’s reconstruction and enable the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza (NCAG) to immediately exercise its authority.
