Jakarta (ANTARA) – President Prabowo Subianto summoned several ministers and senior officials to the State Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday for a limited cabinet meeting.

Those attending included Investment and Downstreaming Minister and Danantara CEO Rosan Roeslani, Coordinating Minister for Downstreaming and Energy Transition Bahlil Lahadalia, and Finance Minister Suahasil Nazara.

Ministers and officials began arriving at around 1:05 p.m. local time, according to observations at the palace.

Also present were Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Minister Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, Deputy Minister Didit Herdiawan, State-Owned Enterprises Regulatory Agency Head Dony Oskaria, and Agriculture Minister Andi Amran Sulaiman.

Rosan said he did not know the meeting’s exact agenda but expected the president to discuss economic developments.

“I was summoned, so I think this is probably another discussion about the economy, given that the officials called in are mostly economic ministers,” Rosan said.

He expected the meeting to continue discussions held previously.

“It will certainly be a continuation of previous discussions,” he said.

Trenggono, meanwhile, said he was also unaware of the meeting’s agenda but was prepared to discuss the Red and White Fishing Village program, one of the government’s priority initiatives.

“I don’t know yet. I’m ready. The data is ready,” Trenggono said.

The government plans to develop 1,360 Red and White Fishing Villages in 2026, with around 100 already completed and operating, Trenggono said.

Construction at another 1,069 sites is underway and is targeted for completion by December 24.
