Medan (ANTARA) – Presidential Chief of Staff Dudung Abdurachman inspected an Integrated People’s School in Serdang Bedagai, North Sumatra, on Monday to assess implementation of the government’s priority education program.
Abdurachman said the visit aimed to ensure the program initiated by President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka was operating as intended.
He said the inspection was part of the central government’s efforts to monitor implementation of the priority program in regions across Indonesia, including North Sumatra.
During the inspection, Abdurachman observed the school’s facilities and infrastructure and monitored the teaching and learning process directly.
He said the learning process was running optimally and in line with the responsibilities assigned by the central government.
Abdurachman said the findings from the inspection would be reported to the relevant ministries for further follow-up.
Serdang Bedagai District Head Darma Wijaya said the visit provided an opportunity to strengthen coordination between the central and local governments.
Wijaya said the Serdang Bedagai administration fully supported central government programs, including efforts to optimize the Integrated People’s School in the district.
School Principal Edy said the school has 300 students, ranging from elementary to senior high school.
